Home 9 News 9 Professionalism – key to successful project implementation

The National Construction Industry Council has called upon project implementation personnel to get professional certification for them to successfully deliver projects. The remarks were made by the Chief Executive Officer for NCIC, Eng. Gerald Khonje, in Mangochi on Monday, the 18th of September when he opened a one-week Project Management Certification training conducted by the Training and Research Department of NCIC and facilitated by BetaPM Management Consulting Ltd.

Eng. Khonje added that the training has come at a right time as Malawi is rolling out Infrastructure Delivery Management Standards which is a vital tool kit in the efficient delivery of infrastructure projects as it serves as a guide to the way projects should be conceived, planned, procured, implemented, maintained and disposed of.

Drawn from various institutions in Malawi, participants expressed their eagerness to hone skills to transform their project management capacity for the good of development projects in Malawi.
